No, ask for the maintenance records of the radar gun. It's required that they get it checked out every so often, and if they don't, your traffic ticket is void. It's also requred by law that they give you the records if you ask for them. 9/10 they don't keep there radar guns up to date so good luck with that. FUCK THA POLICE.

At least in Michigan the gun must have been serviced/calibrated within the last 3 years, and the officer must have been trained within the last 3 on the device as well.
